Acceptable Use Addendum · Version 2026-05-29

This addendum supplements the QuantRidge Terms of Service. Optional reconnaissance features are disabled by default and enabled only for individually entitled accounts by an administrator.

1. Permitted use

  • Probe only systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test in writing.
  • Use for lawful security research, due diligence, fraud prevention, or similar legitimate business purposes.
  • Complete the in-product acknowledgment before any recon API is available.
  • Accept that activity is audit-logged (timestamp, scan type, hashed target, IP address).

2. Prohibited use

  • Unauthorized scanning or access attempts.
  • Harassment, doxxing, or unlawful processing of personal data.
  • High-volume sweeps or vulnerability scans against third parties without authorization.
  • Use that violates applicable computer-crime, privacy, or sanctions laws.

3. Feature tiers

Standard tier includes DNS, WHOIS, SSL/header checks, and limited port recon. Enterprise tier may enable additional capabilities only when configured by QuantRidge operators and granted to your account.

4. Enforcement

QuantRidge may suspend access immediately for suspected misuse and preserve logs as required by law. Contact legal@quantridge.net for enterprise enablement questions.
